PowerSplint is used regularly by track and field athletes and their athletic trainers in the events of shot put, discus, javelin and others. PowerSplint supports the DIP and PIP joints to reduce risk of injury. It offers finger protection and is used as a finger guard and finger sleeves by athletes in all sports and at all levels, including the NBA, NFL, MLB, NCAA, pro soccer & rugby leagues and more.
The first professional athlete to use PowerSplint in an NBA game was Trevor Booker, then of the Washington Wizards. Trevor had been bothered by a dislocated index (pointer) finger on his shooting hand. After testing out a PowerSplint we sent him, he decided to wear one in a game vs. the Dallas Mavericks. The result that night? 10 points and a career-high 19 rebounds!
PowerSplint offers outstanding DIP and PIP finger support and can be used as a finger splint, finger brace, sleeve, guard, protector and finger support.
